HIGHLAND PONY NEWS 2022
HAPPY NEW YEAR
Something different this weekend. I was asked by Fiona Reid to judge M&M classes and Veteran classes at her Puddledub show at Brechin. what an enjoyable day it was and I was ably helped by my two lovely stewards, Mary Forsyth and Nicky Marshall.
I was delighted when my beautiful Connemara ridden gelding Champion went Supreme of show followed my versatile little veteran ridden pony as Reserve Supreme of show.

Royal Highland Show 2022
It was so good to be back at the Highland Show and such an honour to once again judge the male Highland Ponies. I had a lovely day helped by very pleasant and efficient stewards and chose my champion Fandango Na Dailach a six year old stallion bred by Mrs Marguerite Osborne and owned by Dr Aylwin Pillai and shown by her sister Virginia so a truely family affair. My Reserve Champion was the senior gelding Yersten of Allnacailleach bred by Mrs Heather Gow and owned by Lenice Gillett. I was pleased with all my winners and although not the largest entries all the ponies entered gave a good account of themselves.

Marcus
Marcus left for his new home with Michelle and Mia Anness in January and has settled in very well. I look forward to hearing about his progress. Exciting times for this young pony.
